About Me

Hi, my name is Simona. Photography has always been my passion, but I wanted to create something special and unique. I wanted to add a different kind of magic, an upgrade to the magic of photography. This desire led me to phototransfer technique, to PhotoART, where I transform my photos into unique art pieces. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a painter. However, my teacher told me I didn't have the talent. I believed her because, after all, she was the teacher, and teachers are supposed to know best, right? Many years later, I discovered my own "way of painting". By taking my photos and transforming them using a technique phototransfer, I found my unique artistic expression. Now, I live on an island Fuerteventura, Canary Islands and participate in art markets, sharing my PhotoART with the community and tourists who come for holidays. In hindsight, I'm grateful for my teacher's words. They tooked me toward a different path, one that allowed me to combine my love for photography with my desire to create art. Now, I can say that I have found my true calling in PhotoART, and it brings me joy to share my creations with the world.
