Making of photoART
Each piece of PhotoART begins with a photograph, printed on standard paper in the desired size. I then apply layers of gel medium to the printed photo using a paintbrush and press it onto the chosen surface—whether canvas or wood—ensuring a firm bond between the paper and the base. Once the piece is dry, I carefully rub away the layers of paper with water and my fingers, revealing the image transferred onto the surface. This process is delicate, requiring patience and care, and it’s repeated multiple times until the image is perfectly revealed. The beauty of PhotoART lies in its uniqueness. Even if I use the same photo, the final result is always a little different—same, same but different. Each piece is truly one of a kind, blending the original photo’s magic with the handmade art of the transfer technique.
